1LE to PPV lower control arms

I have installed the 1LE LCA's on my car along with a couple of other members. We have noticed a possible increase in ride height. I purchased another set of the service kit 1LE LCA's for comparison between the two styles. The measurements taken are going to be subject to SO many things. Even though I used the B and C points for comparison of location of the A point, the A point will probably be the most consistent point on the car. The B and C points will be affected by force of the spring at the B point and also the angle of the spring.

Lookin at all this geometry is making my head hurt? whats the point you are after?
It has been established that these ILE rear arms will in fact raise the rear using the stock rear springs. Myself and others have shown that if u are swapping to the OEM SS sedan rear springs at the same time that you will be siting just a scootch lower than stock, and as a bonus you get a much nicer ride that is also more controlled and i would argue is very well set up to load the car with passengers and cargo which then makes the car sit about at even rake. Didn't Navylifer already explain all this as well as delve into modding a set for lowering purposes?

It's good to see the measurements for comparison--and it validates what I was able to observe but not actually measure in the past.

The unknown at this point is whether the Camaro & sedan rear outboard uprights (knuckles) are similar dimensionally--ie. is the distance from the axle center (down) to the lower control arm outer attachment point the same on both vehicles/chassis.

XC, yep my head started to hurt also. I knew that I couldn't completely follow through with the rest of the math. I don't know the other angles involved or mounting points. I was hoping to shed a little light on what you and I both observed using these. I am assuming that if the A point in both pictures was the same, the B point (rear spring/strut) for the 1LE LCA would be farther from the ground. But, that's where the math/geometry/force vectors, etc. are assumptions. My car's rear ride did came back up a little, maybe 1/2". But, I got the result I wanted along with installing the 1LE toe links. The rear suspension is tighter and I have really minimized wheel spin, wheel hop off of the line. I like the results.

I can see what you're talking about, and it sure looks like it would result in getting the rear end higher in the air. Seems you'll almost certainly need lowering springs or coil-overs with this arm.

Is the 1LE arm a thicker material (more resistant to twisting forces) or does the wheel-hop control come from a stiffer bushing?
