There isn't a great pic of the outside of the bar where it attaches to the arm to see how the clearance is, Is there a way you can say definitely that the stock rear caliper won't work with the 15 bar?

At present, this is correct.

The last contact between my local dealer parts department and GM Service Parts indicated that the bar "kit" under the new PN 92457770 should be shipping soon. I am bird-dogging this and will let everyone know when the kit is available.
I still have not actually confirmed the stock on hand status of the bar kit, but it does now price at GM Parts Direct:
https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts ... t-92457770" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I also haven't really given a full update on the change to the car's behavior with this bar now installed. I consider the change very much worth it--I have only changed to rear bar, still using the 24mm front bar (on 11-13 PPV). The car feels much more controlled and I can negotiate transitions with much more confidence, so I suppose it's appropriate to say it's more neutral. Really, the SOTP validation would best be done with 2 cars--one stock, one modified with this bar--to fully describe the difference.

Currently I'm running 2016 Camaro 18x8.5 wheels with 255/45-18 Continental DWS-06 tires.

I'm totally satisfied with the mod....yes, it's more complicated than just changing the stock rear bar to a larger bar of the same design.

I have the 1LE arms on the car now and they already have a heavier mounting piece for the inner sway bar link setup if you look at both side by side you can see the difference of how those tabs are shaped and attached to the main arm body. I'm thinking that the cheap/easy solution may be to use the 14SS bar with the stock ppv links on the 1LE arms and just see what happens?
Wow, looks like I did not answer this question. Yes, I’m running the BMR rear bar, and their links. Haven’t disassembled the front suspension enough to do the front bar yet, but it’s in the stash pile with the brake upgrade.

Confirmed inventory on hand at GM for both 2014 SS rear bar (28mm) and 2015-2017 SS bar (25mm). The 28mm bar has the same contour as production PPV bars. The 25mm bar is wider, same as found on 2015-2017 SS sedan. Both have the proper offset/kickout between the cradle bushings to clear the spare tire well.

The 2014 bar puts more load on the links and lower control arm link attachment brackets--using all 2014 SS parts takes care of this. The 2015-2017 bar, even though smaller, offers as much roll resistance as the 2014 configuration, provides better link durability and reduced harshness.

Both configurations require the bracket modification (or similar) described earlier in this thread to mount the bar to the cradle/crossmember.

using 2014 bar
: (requires aftermarket links, or change to 2014 SS lower control arms & 2014 links)

Parts Illustration (items 1, 3, 4) - add items 2, 6, 7 if using 2014 SS control arms

NOTES:
1. For 2014 "narrow" bar, individual parts must be purchased.
2. Bushings & clamps from aftermarket may be substituted--typical clamps are slotted, allowing some adjustment vertically.
Example: http://www.energysuspension.com/univers ... hings.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;]energysuspension.com | Sway Bar Bushings[/url] (PN 9.5163 - 28mm, with lube fitting)
3. Suggested control arm & link mods to use stock PPV lower control arms (BMR):

https://www.bmrsuspension.com/index.cfm ... superpro=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - ELK009 Brace

using 2015-2017 bar: (requires 2015-2017 SS or Camaro upgrade lower control arms & Brembo rear conversion) Some aftermarket lower control arms are now upgraded for the later sway bar link design.

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts ... t-92457770" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - Bar 92457770
https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts ... dhcw%3D%3D" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - Link 22761221 (2 required)
NOTE: The 2015-2017 bar is sold as a kit (bar, bushings & clamps), and only links need to be added (other than changes required to use this "wide" bar configuration).

I've got 6 more sets of these weld-on sway bar adapter brackets being fabricated, if anyone is interested.

I've updated the title of this thread to make sure anyone with interest understands that there are 2 options available using GM rear sway bars from the SS sedan that would necessitate adding the brackets mentioned/shown in this thread.

Posting this to save time reading through multiple posts.

The two options vary in this way:

Using the 2014 SS rear 28mm "narrow" sway bar:
- works with stock PPV brakes (floating calipers)
- requires reinforced rear lower control arms or BMR reinforcement brackets--ideally arms from 2014 SS (and stronger OE sway bar links) or aftermarket options
- upgrade brackets welded to cradle/crossmember

Using the 2015-2017 SS rear 25mm "wide" sway bar:
- requires conversion to Brembo rear brakes (fixed calipers)
- requires lower control arms with provision for outboard links - OE or aftermarket options
- upgrade brackets welded to cradle/crossmember
