ABS light still on ??

ABS light still on ??

Had all 4 bearings replaced new rear ABS sensors
Snap on scanner says rear sensors are bad
Any ideas ?

Weird for both to go out at the same time. Check the wiring harness going along side the fuel tank. There is a connector at the side there. I would take it off there and make you you got the right ohms and continuity going to the wheels.

With that same scanner, can you get live data? Watch what the speed readings are for each wheel.

What is the exact code?

If you've already replaced the sensor, you should trace the wiring to that sensor as it could be a wiring issue. You'll need a schematic.

C0045 is left rear wheel sensor circuit. I'm not finding anything GM related to C0044.

C0044 is a Brake pressure sensor C0044 Description The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module monitors the Brake Pressure Sensor 'A'. The ABS Module sets the OBDII code when the Brake Pressure Sensor 'A' is not to factory specifications.

Could always try a brake pedal position relearn with a Tech2 scantool.
13 Caprice 6.0L, Solo catback exhaust, 3.27 diff, VCM OTR and Volant throttle spacer, MSD coils plugs wires, transmission pan upgrade and widemouth filter. Camaro 18" rims.

But if you scroll down that page, it doesn't give any info on GM vehicles. And Google searches for C0044 and Chevrolet or GM yields nothing.

GM:
RF wheel speed sensor circuit open
For two circuits giving issues at the same time, I would suspect wiring.
