Brake combination valve

Post by Flygtr »

Does anyone know if a direct replacement for the brake combination valve? Ac delco part #172-2104, OEM #10223533. I am in need of one and ordered the rebuild kit online from muscle car research, but am ideally looking for a working replacement. Does anyone have any info on this part as to where I can find one that’s working or a new aftermarket replacement? I’ve been through 2 boneyard ones that do not work. Thanks in advance.

Combination valves don’t fail very often. What is wrong with it? I have one, but the price is high as it comes with a complete car.

Threads were tapped out and won’t seat a line. Replaced it with a junkyard valve (correct part) but the piston seems frozen/sticking probably from sitting for 10+ years without fluid. Looking for options.
