Camaro Wheel Confirmation!

Post by Sokruhlica »

Hey so I know there has been a lot of discussion about the fitment of Camaro SS 20's but I just want to try to 100% clarify with anyone who has attempted it. I found a great deal on the 20x8 and 20x9 with 245/40-20 and 275/35-20 respectively. So with those tires and rolled rear fenders, there ARE still rubbing issues, correct? Oh and mine is also lowered using the H&R Sport Springs (just over an inch). I would just like to know for sure so I know whether or not to pass on this deal. Thanks in advance for any info!!

those look like the 5th gen tires , which are to tall , need to be the next smaller aspect ratio

not sure if you got the rear size right i though they were 40's for the 5th gen

I get a little bit of rubbing in the rear when I'm towing and have the car loaded down and hit a g-out. My fenders are not rolled.

It's the bottom of a dip when gravity compresses the suspension or any other situation that does the same thing.

A high banked oval will do the same with enough speed.

Ahh, so 'bottomed-out'. Got it!

Like driving on the banking at TWS at 115 MPH and dragging the headers on the track, still turning right while going left. Got it.
