They were charging me $25.00 per wheel. However they have not answered my email confirming if they arrived. Cheetah exports is who I am using. Have no idea how much from them to my door.....

Cheetah exports look like they are not a third party exporter meaning they handle thier own full containers. That's Good. When I got my wheels from AU the guy sending them said he paid some on his end and I may have to pay some fees when they landed in the US. I though a couple of hunded dollars no problem. After US customs fees, Xray Inspection fees, Patriot act disclosure form fees, third party consolidator handling fees the total came to over $1,100.00 US dollars.

And I though Sea travel was supposed to be the cheap way!

Point is get a handle on the fees upfront and lock in any amount you can. Don't let tehm leave it open ended even if you have to pay a bit more up front.

I paid $1500 for my wheels and tires. $1100 went to shipping and the seller got $400 for 20 inch HSV pentagons. Needless to say it soured both of us on ocean shipments. Rather bend over for fedex/DHL at least you know up front how they are going to bend you over and do not come back with extra fees for doing it.

Will post the itemized receipt if you are interested to get an idea.

The wheel company wouldn't ship to USA. So I went with this export company who texted me the price I said. Will see if it was legit. I'm still trying to see if the wheels made it to the shipper....... I just got an email indicating that they arrived at the shipper.

Rj,

Ok, if I have this right, Wheelking charged $100 (I'm assuming Australian $) to ship to Cheetah's depot in Australia. I just looked on Cheetah's site, looks like they charge $550 per cubic meter. I'm guessing four wheels packed in individual boxes will be within a cubic meter. Then there is an additional cost from Cheetah's depot in Indiana to your door (via FedEx, USPS, UPS, etc), which is to be determined?

Thanks

I didn't see the cubic feet price. I texted and talked to the guy state side who said it would be $100 from Australia to USA. Then I would have to pay for shipping from their place to me. Supposedly the container gets shipped the end of August.....

Thanks for the info RJ, I'll email them. Hopefully I can get my wheels on the same container.

Anyone have any insight on how much these wheels weigh? Getting closer to pulling the trigger & buying them.
