Newbie question

Hey guys. I am new to the forum and I am looking to pickup a new Caprice this week. I was looking for some aftermarket wheels that I like and most of the options that I really like either come in 20x10 or 20x10.5 rear sizes. Is there any possibility that a 10.5 will fit on the rear of these cars or am I dreaming? Also, how well will a 20x10 fit on the rear? Any positive responses will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The wheel sizes that I have been eyeing are F: 20x8.5 R: 20x10

Could you guess recommend some offsets that will work with a 2012 PPV without tearing something up?

depending on the look your going for, the rears could should come in between +30 that giving you more of a "flush" look to a +50 more of an OEM look. The +30 would probably require fender rolling depending on ride height!

Front a easier lot of room up there.
again depending on the look your going for. For that flush look you could dip down in the high +20's. So +29 +28 +27 +26 +25 (This should put the wheel pretty flush with the front fender)
I wouldnt go any higher than +50

What he said. You can also calculate the ideal tire size for your wheels. There are online tools that you can use like this-- tyresizecalculator.com/wheels/wheel-offset. By the way, what tires are you planning to get? Michelin and Continental have good all-season tires. If you are planning to drive on the track, Mickey Thompson ET street radials are a nice option because they offer dependable traction on dry roads.
