GM Part Number for the Caprice PPV 2011 Hub Caps (9C1 Impala Style)
GM Part Number for the Caprice PPV 2011 Hub Caps (9C1 Impala Style)
Hello from Sydney Australia! I have a GM Holden VE SSV Commodore 2011.
I've recently aquired some new GM 92246104 (18 x 8) PPV Steel Wheels, which despite the PPV Caprice being built in Australia, there aren't a GM orderable item here.
Have a quick question, does anyone know the GM part number for the Caprice PPV 2011 Hub Caps / Center Caps similar to the 9C1 Impala Style?
Zeos has them fitted to his PPV. I've PM'd him however it seems he was last online in 2017.
They look 9C1 Impala Style (Chevrolet Impala PPV Center Cap Part GM Number 9593297 9593298 08043 5 Lug Chrome - Police Edition), however the PCD and center bore is different according to many online GM sources.
I'm hoping to source some, instead of the PPV GM 92253464 (2011 - 2016) standard ones.
I've contacted a few US Center Cap places but no one seems to know what I am talking about.
The center caps were featured in the 2011 Promo and Media releases for the 2011 PPV so I am not sure why there are so unknown.
Really appreciate any leads here..

I think the OP is looking for the style that did not come on these cars.

8Rody,
I just happen to own a 2011 9C3 Caprice and a 2012 9C1 Impala. I was able to install the Impala center cap on a spare Caprice wheel. However, the bolt pattern of the Caprice is larger. But you should be able to install the Caprice lug nuts. See the part number on my particular cap, GM 9593297. It is a good number that is searchable.
Regards,
Maurice

Maurice,
Thanks for your reply mate. Perhaps for the 2011 PPV promos and media the simply slapped the Impala 9C1 GM 9593297 Hub Caps / Center Caps on. Explains why I can’t find any other part numbers for what I was after.
I don’t suppose you have a photo of the difference of the Impala Hub Caps on the PPV Caprice steel wheel? Would I need to enlarge the holes for the lug nuts to seat? I assume the PCD is why the holes are slightly off.

Correct! As per the pictures in the post. Appreciate the feedback, I’m in Australia so I’ve got nothing to physically check!

Wow that looks so much better than the ones it comes with sir....
Re: GM Part Number for the Caprice PPV 2011 Hub Caps (9C1 Impala Style)
Maurice was kind enough to email through a comparison of the 9C1 Impala hubs on the PPV steel wheel...
Looks like the PCD is slightly off, which is expected based on the Impala difference.
I've ordered some GM 09593297 (9C1 Impala) Hub Caps from eBay so we will see how they go. I'll report back.
