Are those 9" wide wheels? Would love to know weight and if they just mounted right up. I've got 9" steelies and my only complaint is how heavy they are, 43 lbs.indianajoe wrote:Finally got my CTSV wheels mounted, stock V size Pilot A/S3+

I'm running a 5mm spacer from motorsport tech at all four corners
I dont have weights, but they were surprisingly light. I wouldn't be surprised if they weighed the same as the stock setup

Re: Show off your wheels ON YOUR CAR!
Is it almost a given with these cars that any 19's will work, but it's the 18's where you're going to have a hard time finding the right wheels to clear the calipers?

Re: Show off your wheels ON YOUR CAR!
Stock PPV brakes should not be much of a concern with just about any 18" wheel....with a Brembo caliper upgrade, it's necessary to pay more attention to clearance concerns with 18's.

up front for wheel size: 18" x 8.5" w/ 35 offsetHzgray wrote:I'm interested in the wheel/tire specs on above VMRs. Thx
tire size: 245/45R18
in the rear wheel size: 18" x 9.5" w/ 45 offset
tire size: 275/40R18
The finish is Hyper Silver.
No clearance issues. Nothing rubs.
I purchased through Modbargains.com. For the set of 4 shipped to my door I paid about $920
I hope this helps you out. The tires in the rear end up to be just under 11" wide. Gives it a pretty meaty look. I love this setup!

Thx, the VMRs look great.
2013 9C3, DoD delete, BTR Stg 1, Kooks 1 7/8, Rotofab, 3.27 Diff, VMR 810 wheels (staggered), King Springs (lowered), oh and a D1SC.

Re: Show off your wheels ON YOUR CAR!
Update: I actually had to remove the 5mm rear spacer, it was causing the edge of the tire to make contact with the fender lip.indianajoe wrote:Fronts are 19x9,255/40-19v8suprcapric wrote:Are those 9" wide wheels? Might roll the fender and put it back on, it looked good

Tire selection and size would also be handy....Navy Lifer wrote:To everyone....when posting information about your wheel setup....PLEASE provide ALL known/pertinent information possible/available, not just wheel width. Aftermarket wheels are all over the place when it comes to accuracy or availability of information, so please think of others reading this thread and others about wheels when posting.
1. Offset (or use of spacers)
2. Hub center bore - hub-centric ring required?
3. Weight
4. Any known clearance issues - caliper (if big brakes are in use), strut, wheel opening, etc.
5. Supplier PN
6. Finish as identified by supplier
7. Cost info, if willing to divulge
8. Source

Re: Show off your wheels ON YOUR CAR!
Can finally contribute to this thread! Got 20" Genuine Pentagons in Gray.
Used with a bit of curb rash will need to take to the wheel doctors to fix up.
They are staggered so 8" wide up front 9.5" rear
Tire Size is: 245/35R20 Front - 275/30R20 Rear
Cost was $1500US shipped from AU (will post a harrowing story on that later)
On the search for new center caps that have not faded to gold.
And now reading all the brake upgrade threads because everyone can see my corroded calipers and rotors now!!
Really surprised as I thought the ride would be worse with the lower profile tires. Seems about the same as the factory RS tires.
Gotta get her lowered a bit. Just too much gap right now.

wow genuine hsv wheels, nice.smwalker wrote: Really surprised as I thought the ride would be worse with the lower profile tires. Seems about the same as the factory RS tires.
I'm surprised by your ride comment, I noticed a harsher ride with my 19"s, although i was coming from Conti DWS, not police tires (are the rsa really that stiff?)
cant wait to do the ss spring/2012ppv shock install
