New member on the hunt for a Caprice

Post by Nate68c10 »

Looking for a Caprice to haul the kids around in and occasionally beat on. It will be a daily driver looks like a cam and gear swap will be the first thing I'm interested in doing. Any helpful suggestion welcome. I think I'll end up buying one from a dealership in the Chicago area unless anyone can point me in a better direction! Thanks again.

Where are you located?

The Facebook group always has cars for sale. I’ve bought two cars from Chicago motors and was happy with my purchases.

I hear ya, I joined strictly for car stuff. Nobody seems to sell on cl anymore.

If you threw out some more info on what you’re looking for we may be able to help better. There’s this car on the for sale group.

The seats in this thing are awesome! I'm shopping for a dod delete currently and trying to decide on what cam to get to keep it tame enough the wife won't catch on to what I'm up to!

People have had good luck with a stock ls3 cam. I saw a thread on the g8 board where they gained 40hp I think?
