Well, I purchased the 2001 Trans Am that I mentioned above! It is a 100% stock, all original, garage kept, one (old man) owner car! I know some of you are also F-Body owners, so what are some good forums / facebook groups? I just joined LS1 Tech (same username). I still desire to own a New Caprice in the Future!

There's the full-spectrum of members there, from polishers to fabricators, so there's rarely bad tech. Other than that, and the LS1-tech forum, I can't think of many others. There is a local Houston F-body club, but I'm not sure of their current state of activity.
