Yeah, headlight housings aren't something you want to get stuck with to replace. I recently replaced all the lenses on our '02 GMC 2500HD, making it look brand freaking new, and because of that, purchased a spare set for our '10 Tahoe PPV. For those two vehicles, though, I think I spent less for those parts in total than what a pair of headlight housing would run for the Caprice!
I'll probably eventually get a spare pair for the Caprice, but man, they're just stupid-expensive.
