Hi Everyone. Many thanks to Eric for getting my login fixed. I got my 2011 9C3 with 6,000 miles 5/2015. Love it. Silver with all emblems shaved, black window tint (legal of course). Removed spotlight, flashing trunk lights, and stock rims. Next plan is an exhaust upgrade. Suggestions welcomed.

Welcome to the group. Lots of good info here. What type of exhaust mods? Headers, axle back...
And, still have the trunk lights?

Regards,

Maurice

Welcome. Yea, another Silver one to the club. :) I did the Solo Axle back on mine. I did spend a bit extra to have the tips redone as they did not sit like I wanted them. While they did that, I got rid of the bolt on couplers and had everything welded up. It sounds and looks great now.

I just finished putting on 2014 SS mufflers this evening. The guy I bought them from had them on a G8, so the flanges were already on there. I'll just have to have the tips lengthened some.

They aren't very loud, in fact, they're just loud enough at idle to hear it run. During acceleration, they wake right up to a very good deep tone. Cold start has a nice burble to it, way better than stock. Overall, I'm pleased. I'm sure headers and midpipes later on will only make them sound that much better.
