I've owned a few LS based cars and completed a couple LS swaps.
I even owned a 80's caprice.
I recently purchased a 2012 Chevy Caprice V8 6.0l formerly owned by the Waterville police department. It was retired around 79k miles and.
I switch between making it into a 550 hp sleeper or keeping it a mildly modified daily driver.

Re: New West Coast Caprice owner here
Welcome to the system! I never owned a 80's version Caprice although I drove a number of them as an active LEO, instead I went through the 80's Dodge Diplomat cycle and built a few of those. Awesome find on a low mile car, good luck on your project!
