Another G8 guy

Post by BlackGT5 »

Hello all. I have an 09.5 G8 GT and have been reading up on Chris Whites work on the PPV radio on the G8. I picked up a used PPV radio and plan to send it to Chris soon to do his magic. Have been reading a few posts on here so I figured I would register and say hello!

Welcome and glad to see you here.

So are you going to put the Caprice radio in the G8, how can that be done with the different layout of the control panels?
See this post: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=56&start=10#p3277" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also, are those Drag DR-37 wheels on your G8?

Radio, control panel and PPV trim will need to be used in the G8.

Wheel are VMR 718's.

Thanks Tom. I may be asking you for video/USB cables soon if you still have them.

Welcome and good luck with the mod. You're aware that you don't have the CD ripping function nor the nav active using a PPV radio, correct? But - you DO have everything else :)

Again, welcome!

Thanks Eric. Yes, I am aware of the current "limitations". It will give Chris something to achieve this year :lol:
