Manhattan, Kansas 2011 ppv owner

Post by lucasroutson »

Pretty sure there is not another new caprice ppv in Manhattan which is surprising considering the population when Kstate is in session can rise to 70k. If there is another Manhattan Kansas owner please let it be known! I have a 2011 silver caprice. All that’s done so far is axleback by solo and a VCM OTR intake. Oh, and the most important and noticeable modification....A Charles Barber tune!

I plan to order cam, lifters, etc soon so I can install this cold season. Also have a center console from a g8 coming soon and today a g8 gt steering wheel showed up! Thanks guys!

Sounds cool. Would love to hear a sound clip or vid of the exhaust. I’m in Philly. May be someone closer.

Where did you source the G8 parts?

Edit: oh, wow. Manhattan, KS. Do I feel silly missing the state and thinking, ehh 90 minutes away on a good day.

This is an actual pic of my car in service when newly bought in 2011. Kinda cool to find this on the depts website.

That is cool seeing it decked out pre-retirement. I do have to say though that their graphics are meh.

It looks like they put them all on and then thought, "shit what town is this..."

And thus it became an afterthought.

Silver looks great though in the "after" picture
