New Owner 2011, Tri-Cities, WA, Pics

Just got this from the Idaho Falls PD. It was advertised as having engine problems without specifying what was wrong with it, other than that there was a"rattling" sound coming from the engine. Was really happy when I got and all it has is a bad lifter in the number #1 intake. It runs fine, with no engine codes. Had to remove alot of decals that were cracked and permanently glued on.
had to use the "eraser" wheel on a buffer. Spent about a 6 hours to remove them, and another 12 hours to do a three stage buff to bring out the shine. The front end has been repainted, could not really find any damage to the core support area. Overall, pretty happy with my purchase, and the price was right. Going to do the usual big cam,CAI, converter, and long tubes.
As bonus, the asset manager thru in a almost new set of Z-rated summer tires that were not part of the original listing.
It also came with a unique prisoner cage. I know, I didn't clean the interior before the pic.
I did replace the rear bumper cover from my 2012 parts car.

Mike

As I got it.

Actually, I like the "smooth" bumper better. And the original bumper cover had some minor depressions from backing into something. The only problem with swapping the bumper cover is the attachment points are slightly different, looks like there is a lot of drilling out rivets to swap the brackets.

Welcome! Certainly a good base to work with.

I've seen those silent partners before but only on the Taurus Interceptors as they are so freaking small, the seat wouldn't go back far enough for the taller guys. Glad those toy cars are out of production although the Exploders aren't really any better.

I guess on the Caprice they wanted the guys to be able to lean back and have a snooze on the night shifts.
