New owner of 2012 PPV PC1

Post by keherrington »

I was going to buy a 2015 SS but after researching alternatives ended up buying a silver 2012 Chevy Caprice PPV (PC1) with a L77 V8, one of only two I found for sale nationwide. When purchased it had 4200 miles and 170 hours on it and is in near new condition throughout. According to the dealer where I purchased it, the car was a demonstrator. Regardless, I'm beyond satisfied with the car and am astounded by its level of performance and its sophistication. I paid less than $25,000 and at that price I just could not justify the SS. I may eventually get an SS but certainly not for several more years and probably will get it used.

I was able to order the proper front license plate holder.

Keith,

Welcome! It's looking like the 3 Musketeers here--Scott (novadeuce) is in Gainesville, I'm in Canton, and it appears you may be somewhere in between!

Well, on second thought...I'm guessing you got the car in Georgia, but you're located further north....

Congrats on the best bang for your buck I have seen in a long time . It seems you are some what like myself . I also looked at the new SS and fell in love with the car . But just could not justify spending $50 grand . Then I found my car in Elkhart In .and the deal they gave me on what I felt was the clone of the SS . I have been happy ever since . So once again congrats on the ppv .
