Hey everyone! Just picked up a 2011 caprice! Was a wisconsin sheriff's car. Looking to do some heavy modding! There is just so little information on these things! My biggest thing right now is trying to get all the functionality back into my infotainment syatem and dash display. Looking forward to being a member of this forum!

wow....thing got well used in a hurry. Never got cold, that's nearly 24 hours a day. Maybe they REALLY liked it!

Are you able to get maintenance records when you buy a car like that?

Welcome to the system! Nice acquisition. We need to keep track of which agencies up there are running these cars and do some spot bids at their auctions.... they turn 'em out early it seems on years, but realize it's the miles that do it.

Lot of agencies are now running cars to 150K and up, I ran into (not literally, met him in a service shop) the District Lieutenant that I know with Florida Highway Patrol that covers my area along with 4-5 other troopers yesterday, they were looking at my car while it was lifted for an oil change. The Lt. has over 210,000 miles on an unmarked Tahoe he drives. It seems like just a few years ago FHP was selling vehicles with 60K miles on them. I saw an old LTD II sent to auction with 47K miles on it a long time back just because....

Thanks guys! What a warm welcome! The police sure do know how to rack up the miles! Car still shifts smooth, thats all I was concerned about. Now I just need to get her ready for carcraft comjng up! Should be the only 11 caprice there.
