The Jaguar was a lot of fun. At the time (before many LS swaps and everything having 400+ hp as it seems now), it was quick enough to surprise a few folks. It was a good cruiser too, with a factory 3.54 rear gear. I know there have been a ton of Chevrolets put into Jaguars, but it still got a few looks when I'd pull into local car shows. It had a little rumble with an LT1 HOT cam. Andrew at http://jaguarspecialties.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; helped a lot. It's pretty easy to find dead Jaguars to swap. A lot of the late '90s/early 2000s had timing chain guides/hardware that would self destruct, and if they did, was too costly for most people to repair. Then you can do this relatively easy:
