Caprice PPV Coming to West Virginia

Post by jpalmer »

Hi Fellas!
I just pulled the trigger on a purchase of a 2013 Caprice PPV. She is black on black, 6.0L and has 120 miles on the clock.

From what I can tell it is a 2013 left over, GM marked it has used and sold it to a dealer in WI through an auction.

Should be here in a few days. Pics will follow shortly after.

Looking forward to learning about my new rig, and sharing info on this forum.
Jeff

Yeah, I have a 1996 B4U that I Have owned since 1998. I might have to part with it....which would hurt!

But I ain't thinking about that right now, just the PPV.

And we're still the proud owners of a 1995 9C1, 1995 SS, 1996 SS and 92 B4C 1LE Camaro.

The 9C1 might be available soon, but like you, I'm too busy bringing the '12 PPV up to snuff.

Wow! Feels like a home coming!

I can't wait to get the PPV in the driveway, the car hauler is kinda pushing me off a bit. I know he has to line up a return load, but I still want it yesterday. If it takes him too long I'm heading there and drivin' it back. Nothing like 700 miles to get real intimate with the new ride.

Good to see ya VIN Guy!

Leadfart - you be careful down there at BG, but not too careful! ;)

Patience, young one. When we bought our Tahoe PPV, we waited almost a month for the hauler to pick it up an bring it home. So long, we had to pay a penalty on the registration fees. The Caprice was about a week wait, but I was quite surprised when they said it was on it's way.

With only 120 miles on the car I'd say go get it and drive it back! Nothing like a hard break-in to get to know the car! I bought a '12 Charger Pursuit out of Oklahoma and flew out and drove it back. I really got to know the car and had a fun time.

I've been on the ISSF since 2001, shortly after getting my first 9C1. That's long gone but I've still got my '96 SS I picked up in 2004. Welcome to the group!

Do you know if your car is a 9C3 or 9C1?

Tons of B-body veterans here. Both myself and James came out of GoFasst in Central Florida many moons ago....
