New from Texas

Post by Dmtzsslaclinc »

Just got me a 12' caprice ppv and lookin for some insight on these cool rides....haven't found anything on a exhaust system for these. Anybody have any idea if there's something out there or gotta piece something together?? Also what's everybody doing for lowering them? Any insight or a point of direction would be greatly appreciated... :D

Welcome to the board! Do some searching I know I have seen some topics on the exhaust here. What we mostly tend to do is sort of take parts front he G8 crowd and see if they will work or us. That is true with the coil-overs used to lower the PPV. Think there is some mention of those on this board but not a detailed install thread or anything. If you went to one of the G8 boards they would probably have more info on them.

Hope to see some pics!!

Welcome to the club! I pieced together an exhaust from an L99 (Automatic trans engine) Camaro, added 7" of extension ahead of the IRS and then added the Caprice PPV Solo Axle backs. I have also lowered my car 3/4" using the 2015 Sedan SS springs. Inexpensive and quick.
