Garner,
Great action shots and I do like the transparent hood/engine image!

Yes of course! Thank you!elc32955 wrote:Garner,
With your permission I'd like to use at least one (or more) of your excellent quality photos, I'm tossing around refreshing some of the front page pictures soon and I think your car would look good somewhere on the site masthead.
Thanks
Eric
You got it. Though it is a weak attempt, I am trying to make the car look less like an official car while still keeping the steel wheels which I like. I hope people will look at it and think, that's a cop car but that's no cop driving it...LOL. I worry about the car being vandalized sometimes. I think it works on at least some level, the other day, a guy in a G8 GT pulled up along side me on the interstate and floored it trying to get me to race. He assumed no cop would have LSX decals and solo exhaust on his car. His car sounded awesome and I just gave him a thumbs up! If he only knew...ha ha.CrashTestDummy wrote:Man, parking that car just past the crest of an overpass must've given more than a couple of drivers an 'Oh Sh**!' moment!9C1fanatic wrote:Appearance "mods" complete.
I finally got the car looking the way I want for now. Its time to start getting more serious on the engine mods. Let me know what you think.
Do the 'LS-X' labels foretell possible under hood updates?
You do realize that the current truck 5.3L (Gen5 DI) power is the same as our 6.0 L77....? 355HP and 380TQ9C1fanatic wrote:Before that can happen, wife says we got to buy a Suburban. Since you can only get the 5.3L in a half ton suburban, I will more than likely put the L77 in that when we get it so it wont go to waste!
I do. I should have been more specific. I could never bring myself to pay the prices new and even slightly used suburbans go for. I am looking at the 2007-2014 generation.Navy Lifer wrote:You do realize that the current truck 5.3L (Gen5 DI) power is the same as our 6.0 L77....? 355HP and 380TQ9C1fanatic wrote:Before that can happen, wife says we got to buy a Suburban.
