I wonder if HSV when they get a caprice if they actually drill new holes or if they use the existing holes from the factory caprice they get. In that case you could use the template XD used for his caprice to get the holes in the correct place. Maybe.

UNless they get them with no spoilers and drill their own holes.

XD's Install: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1068" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

EDIT: OOps read XD'd post, he does not have it any more. Eric you did this right? Still have your template? That would be a good candidate for the files section. Printing it out however would be difficult, May have to go to Kinkos for that.

Negative on the template/instructions. I didn't make a 100% copy of them before the car went to the body shop, my body guy had his tender way with the template and it's gone to recycling heaven many moons ago. If Karo has any of the spoilers in stock, maybe if you talk nice and say please he could open a box and make a 100% copy... just a thought, not sure if he has any in stock as I haven't heard back from him on spoilers yet.

From what I heard It uses the same 5 holes unless I was told wrong. If it's true I would gladly pay for a copy of your diagram. THANKS

If this helps I laid out the spoiler coming up with these dementions. The end stud locations are actually dimpled under the trunk lid.

On the spoiler that I installed, 2-3 years ago, the holes had to be a certain oval size for the press in clips , the only screws were for the outer edges. The leading edge of the spoiler, on the top of the trunk lid used double stick tape. The Holden supplied template was for just half of the spoiler. When lined up with the outer hole the center line was off by 3/8"- 1/2". I had to make adjustments for the location of the three push in clips by reversing/flipping the template left and right.

Thanks all this info is appreciated . I don't want to put 20 holes in the trunk. Measure 10 times cut once. I live 25 miles from Karo and I might see if I could make a copy of the instructions from a spoiler that he brings in.
