Buick Park Avenue fender vent assembly - AKA repeater

Post by Navy Lifer »

I have been after these for a couple of years and finally got lucky, with an assist from another Forum member. No PN's, sourced from GM China (SAIC). Glad I waited--patience has paid off!

Disassembled for paint/color change. The black insert/grille has since been removed, once I figured out how to do it--these really weren't made to be taken apart!

Kind of Stingray-esque, if you squint. I like the look!

Dang, indeed! Nice. It's a shame there's no viable P/N, I'd probably grab a pair.

For now, there's no likelihood that the guy who sold me the pair I've got will be able to supply any more.

It's not clear if they actually have a GM PN and/or can be located in China. Maybe Karo can investigate this.

The back of the housing definitely shows a GM Shanghai logo, but no PN info.

Sorry--I'll see what I can learn nosing around a bit.

I'm waiting for the "standard" LED repeaters to come in for my PPV but these look great! There has to be a part number for it somewhere!
