i'll be damned if they are different, I called a buddy who works for a GM dealer. His says they are not the same. Wonder what the difference is.

Someone asked about a door recently and when I looked it up the front doors were the same from G8 to 2013 Caprice. They changed in 2014. I attributed that to the different door handle design. So I bet the actual door would still fit you would just have to use the newer style door handle (exterior) and I bet none of the interior door panel mounting points would line up so probably have to use 2014 door panels. That could get weird with wiring and what not.
EDIT ; and also since the door panels mesh in with the dash swapping from WM to WN would be out of the question.
