FYI Door hinge Bushing issue

Post by bluethunder »

Well if you happen to have a PPV that was in service like mine and had/have sloppy door bushings, they are not available by them selves. You must order a complete top and bottom factory hinge to correct the problem. Top is around $125.00 and the bottom $75.00 according to my local dealer. Oh and by the way you must remove the front fender to get access to changing them.
Thanks Chevy

I had a body shop take off my door for a repair and they tried putting it back on without taking off the fender, chewed up the bots real bad. THink they were using the wrong size wrench, suckers. Take the extra step and take off that fender for good access to the bolts.
