De-Condesating headlights

Post by lastcall190 »

My passenger side headlight accumulates moisture when it's, well, moist outside.

Has anyone had any luck with removing bulbs and somehow drying out the inside and then re-applying silicone around the edges? I am not looking to shell out several hundred dollars just yet for new headlights... Mostly just wondering what products some might have used with reasonable success. Thank you.

Look into the breather caps at the back, may have been removed or plugged up.

Some folks have had good luck replacing them alltogehter with a more high performance product: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/acces ... -vent.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks for link. I'll have a look at the vents when I have more daylight as well.
