Anyone try this steering wheel?

I have searched this hallowed site high and low. The general route to replace the '11-'13 Caprice wheel seems to be from a G8 or get a Commodore wheel shipped from Australia. Has anyone tried a wheel from a '12 or '13 Camaro, Caddy, or Vette?

I know the guys on the SS forum have used them . The Alcatra (sp) seems to match well . I had a buddy give a leather SS camaro steering wheel , I was hoping it would work but way to much rewiring for me . If I am not mistaken the 14 and up Caprice have a lot more in common on the inside than the 11-13 Caprice .

14-17 can use the camaro wheel or holden wheel from same year range , the 11-13 need to use a G8 wheel or holden wheel from 07-13

How you know? You tried a swap?

Gregc says the 11 camaro will fit in this thread:
viewtopic.php?t=182&p=4261#p4261" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I think that is what he said. But the 12 and up camaro won't?
Think most of us heard about the wiring that needed to be done and gave up and just settled for the holden / G8 ones.

Ha! yea that might be a another reason no one ever looked into certain years as they look terrible to begin with.

Yeah, the early 5th gen Camaro wheels are horrible. When I get that far down the list, I'm leaning towards the GXP wheel.

Hello and thanks for taking time to read this.

Will a 2014 Camaro LT steering wheel fit a 2014 Caprice without issue? Can the paddle shifter's be made to work with the 2014 Caprice?

Thank you!

the SS sedan wheel is a more sporty option , flappy paddles can be made to work , requires wiring and programing , the info is here on the board

As always thanks for your reply s/c'd cav. I found an LT wheel with paddle shifter's minus the airbag for $100. It looks nearly identical to the Caprice wheel, question, do you know is the Caprice airbag a one for one swap with the LT Camaro?
