Complete Statesman interior

Post by yargnits »

I’m currently in Australia and found a guy selling the complete leather interior from his wrecked Statesman for $1,450 USD. It’s in real good condition and I’ll likely buy it if freight isn’t too bad.

Does anyone have any advice?

He’s parting out the whole car. I know he has the headlights with washers and think he has LED taillights. I asked about his repeaters for people here, but he said he’s selling them with the fenders.

It interested, I’ll let you know if I choose not to buy the interior.

I will go to Suttons later today. Call them: if they have it and you pay for it, I’ll bring it back to the states with me on Sunday. Then we can figure out how to get it to where you are. I live in northern Indiana and have trips to Atlanta and Florida planned over the next couple months.

I brought an empty suitcase hoping to get parts for myself. That’s not turning out so well, so if you contact that Holden dealer above, they have it and I can bring it back in my checked luggage... sure. I’ll be in Orlando at the end of Sept.

Just hope you don’t want an actual airbag. I’m not sure if that can go in my luggage.

DHL air frieght was cheapest for what I was looking at coming from Europe, cheaper than regular by ship for some reason. If there is a DHL warehouse near you, you have the option of picking there to save on the delivery from them to you also.
