So the other day I noticed that my car didn’t have front fender liners for whatever reason. I looked at the OEM part (92270537 and 92270537) and they are around $85 each before shipping.
I looked around on rock auto and saw they had the G8 fender liner (non oem) for $15 each. I figured worst case I could modify them to fit or even worse, I would have lost $30.
I received them yesterday and mocked them up, and it seems to be a match. The holes line up, so today I will get the bolts and put them on.
Just figured I would share since it seems to be a significant savings.
I’ll post some pics when I get them installed.

Re: G8 Fender Liner for Caprice
I recall from a past lookup on a GM parts website that the front wheelhouse liners are the same, at least for 11-13 PPV & G8. The later cars changed to a soft woven mesh plastic liner as a means of reducing tire noise intrusion into the body.
Are the parts from RA new or used, and do they have GM-source markings, or do they clearly come from the aftermarket?
One thing about RA - a relatively large item like this (large shipping box) can end up costing as much or more for the delivery as the part itself, or as much as the item might cost from a local dealer (offering good pricing), where shipping isn't part of the final cost, typically.
Cheaper IS cheaper - if the part is equal in all respects - fit/form/function - and costs that much less, certainly it's money well-spent.

They are clearly aftermarket, no Obvious GM markings and are made in Taiwan. But the shipping was $10 for them. Overall my total order for $40 and some change.Navy Lifer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 10:44 am I recall from a past lookup on a GM parts website that the front wheelhouse liners are the same, at least for 11-13 PPV & G8. Re: G8 Fender Liner for Caprice
Update, so the driver side went on beautifully, no issues, everything lined up perfectly. For the passenger side, not so much, maybe it’s production variances or the aftermarket part, but the upper two plugs near the strut body did not line up, but all the others did.
I’ll take some pics of it tomorrow

So I check again and everything lined up except the top two on the passenger side, not sure why, but all others did.
All in all, not bad for $40 with shipping, in case someone else is missing theirs or needs to replace it.
