rear seat belts missing/cut?

When looking the car over when we first got it, I noticed that the shoulder harness for the middle seat belt was wrapped behind the seat back (I could see it in the 'pass through' when in the trunk). Additionally, the seat buckle for the right-side belt seemed to be tucked under the seat.

Today, while working on other things in the car, I pulled the back seat out to 'fix' that issue. Well, I discovered that the right side seat buckle is not even there. The stud and nut, just hand tight, I might add, are there, but the buckle assembly is not.

When I pulled the seat back out, I discovered that the middle shoulder harness was simply cut. There's nothing to unwrap, it's just the end of the harness. Any idea why this would be? The car does have evidence of having a back seat cage in it, but I'm not sure anyone was ever back there for 'official' purposes.

The car may have had a cage and or prisoner transport seat installed over the factory seat sometimes they use aftermarket seatbelts and damage the original ones or they forget to put the original ones back in the car when they sell it . Private message me I have some seatbelts I may be able to help.

I also suspect it had a one-piece plastic prisoner seat in it.

The belts that Garner sent me from a 2014? PPV bolted right in. I can naw legally carry three perps, er, passengers in the back seat. Thank, you, Garner!! But, MAN, when they broke out a window in the back of that car, glass is EVERYWHERE. I'd love to know the story behind that one.

And, a funny story; when I had the seat bottom out, I could see where the ArmorAll stopped, there was a line where the seat back acted as a seal keeping that nasty stuff from seeping any further back behind it.

It was a 2014 they came out of. Glad to see they could be put to good use and saved from the trash.
