2011 Shows part numebr 13577317 AC Delco PT2569 ($80.00-100.00)
Shown in this very useful AC Delco PDF

Jegs got it: http://www.jegs.com/i/ACDelco/065/PT2569/10002/-1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

2012 Shows Part number 13585868 ($130+)

Wonder if we could make our own from Mouser parts??
Do you have a part number for the 2011 switch, or any two button switch that uses the G8 style connector (which I have one of)?

I ordered 92247604 and the connector is much different then the G8, it is that 13585868.

Thanks

You got the only pat number I see for the 2011 switch. SO I guess the connectors are different from the G8 to the 11 caprice. They are both oblong correct? 6 contacts in a row. Just a diffrent shape? Got any pics?

The G8 switch is on the left, the 9C3 switch on the right- the smaller fatter one

Here is the G8 plug against the 9C3 switch :)
The G8 plug looks like pictures in the parts diagram.

Ok now I am seeing it. Seems the service manual has the wrong information. Checking other years see if they updated things.

EDIT: Man I cannot find anything on that connector. May have to break open mine and see if there are any identifiable markings on it.

Googling around and it appears the G8 switch for non-heated seats, just the traction control, switch 92223807 may use the same connector as the 9C3 switch. Also the older VE switches with just two buttons seem to have the same connector- 928177981, 92189949 as the 9C3, but none of the pics were that great, so I'm not 100% sure it is an exact match.

Guess I'll be looking for a G8 part out for the connector if it isn't available elsewhere for less than the $100 the dealer gets for them.

Edit: This listing has a good pic of the switch port for a VE Parking / Traction http://www.ebay.com/itm/VE-WM-Parking-T ... Hr&vxp=mtr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Looks like the Heated Seats have the unique connector.

Yea the VE parking / traction looks the same as the 9C3. Here are some pics of mine out of a 9C3:

SO I think Crazy Paul listed a pinouts listing for the VE's will see if it is in there.

So I went and looked through this listing by Crazy Paul: http://www.grrrr8.net/crazypaul/2009HoldenPinouts.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And found this one that says it is for a video input. Looks like the one we need. The weird thing is the pinouts list 14 wire locations, where this one clearly only has 8. SO not sure I trust the part number listed:

Well that's useless, anytime I try to search for the part number LMAO151400A it brings up references to "Laughing My Ass Off"

Cant even tell what manufacture uses the prefix LMAO in their part numbers.

OOfa!! Found it:

Tyco/AMP 025 series 8 position 1 row - Tyco Part Number: 1376368-1

Drawing:

http://www.te.com/commerce/DocumentDeli ... =1376368-2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Mouser and Digikey have minimum 2800 order quantity.
Allied Automation has a minimum order of 5, not bad. https://www.alliedelec.com/product/te-c ... /70284162/

Terminals would be:

Tyco Part Number: 1123343-1

1123343-1 Automotive Connectors SOCKET 24-20 AWG

You have a crimper tool to make these up? If not let me know would be glad to order for you and put some leads on em for you.
