Airbag light

Post by Russ3llk »

I picked a 2015 caprice but the passenger seat didn’t have the sensor in the cushion. Grabbed a seat from local salvage yard and swapping it out. How do I rezero the new seat to the car to remove the fault?

Thanks

dealer , or someone that can do body codes , it may also need the sensor relearned

regular code readers can not do it

Don’t know about the 2015’s, but an Autel MaxiCheck MX808 will read and clear codes, plus show live data on all modules on the 2011-2013’s. It is not bi-directional, so it will not operate any components like the multiple thousand dollar ones will. It has been one of my best tool investments in a long time. They are around $375-$400, but it paid for itself in about a month.
