Shark Fin Install
Does anyone know how to remove the antenna and install the chevy ss shark fin?

Bottom line--headliner has to be dropped to install any OE fin. Aftermarket options include "fin" designs that mount over the existing antenna base--the actual antenna mast is removed, of course. Antenna performance (AM/FM) is compromised, typically, but that's not a big issue to most people today.
It's interesting that the back window does contain an antenna array at the top, but it's not connected to anything.
