I've been readin the manual, but I have no idea other than the green/white and the rear trunk flasher wires, what do the rest of these plugs for. Is there a diagram somewhere?
Thanks

Damn it, I can't shrink it down. I'll have to fix it tomorrow at work.

Hi, here's a link to the 2014 Chevrolet Municipal Vehicles Technical Manual:

http://www.gmfleet.com/content/dam/gmfl ... -guide.pdf

There are some wiring diagrams regarding the front compartment upfitter harnesses. This is a nice document to save to your PC for future reference. Have a great evening.

When you are looking at the diagrams these are the numbers for the connectors I believe:

And i would post the pin outs but the service manuals have no information on these plugs. They list them but no info on each wire. Weird.

Kerr Industries, they are the up fitters for these cars at the port. They have all of the information you need for that car. Ive ordered parts from them, it was just a pain to get any info from them.

The trunk lights are supposed to be activated with the trunk open, key off or on. They are switch by the trunk switch and have constant power. So if they don't work, something back there is disconnected.

If you have an older car, good luck getting specific parts. For my 2014, there are a few connectors that are different from the 2015+ that the 2014 isn't compatible with that they didn't have or their supplier had.

Also, in that holy huge picture of yours, the blue connector is constant power around 80A, the 2nd connector has switched power, in combination, that connector has 75A total. And the 3rd connector is all of the controls/signals.

Headlight/taillight flasher activation
Siren speaker +/-
Grille lights +/-
Surveillance mode
Speed sensor output.

I think that's all that's there.

I'll shrink it down tomorrow when I got to work, didn't go in yesterday because of snow. I can't change it from this phone.

So is there a package of female ends that should attach to these? I'm guessing they came in a dealer package with the car? Just the ends probably with 6inches of wire?
