So i was just reading this post. My 2012 rear drivers side window just stopped working in the up direction from the drivers front door switch. The rear switches never operated the windows so no chance of putting it up from there even though I did connect the open connector under the passenger seat some time ago without it making any difference. Other than the info posted in this thread, are there any other known obvious reasons why the window would go down but not up. Thanks John

See my post in about the middle of this thread. I would look at the wiring in the front door rubber boot/bellow. Common on the PPV's to have wiring break in this location.

So for the rears 12 volt power is sent through the blue wire that gets interrupted under the seat. Yours is hooked up so you got power going back. It then stops at the two rear switches then on to the motors. You mentioned those switches do not work. That's something to investigate as to why they do not work. Are they broken inside? Was the wiring just unplugged and bypassed? That might be where you find a bad connection. Eliminate those then you either got a broken wire in the drivers door boot or a bad master switch.

Thanks guys. No power to the connector under the passenger seat. If i bring power from another source, the rear windows operate from the door switches. I'm assuming the wiring harness between the drivers door and body has a couple damaged/broken wires. Once i get the new harness, i'll continue troubleshooting. Thanks for all the great advice. I'll post again when i dig into the drivers door and harness.

Better confirm the master switch is sending out the 12 volts on that line before replacing the harness.

Hi Guys. Continuing my troubleshooting. Any advice or guidance on the following: 1) how do I remove the window/door lock/ mirror control switch assembly from the drivers door? 2) Any guidance or recommendations on how to remove the door to body wiring hardness from the body (with the door still on the car) and where are the connectors for the harness inside the body? I think before replacing the entire harness, I will troubleshoot mine in more detail. Thanks again for all of your help and guidance. John

trust me if you wind up needing a harness take the door off, not a big deal to do it and it will make the job much easier. also i think part of the reason why my replacement harness failed so soon is because in did not remove the door and may have the harness a a bind
