Back when I was younger, I used to run Alpine equipment in all of my cars. Their stuff couldn't be beat. Nowadays I just want to enjoy the experience of driving (and watch out for the young kids being maniacs like I was back then and soccer moms in huge SUVs) and don't even listen to the radio most of the time, let alone need an entertainment system like that. LOL. $2700 (in today's money) isn't too far off what I probably spent 20 years ago ($1000) for a good system. Yeah, too bad it won't work on the PPV. Or did you try contacting them? Maybe it can be made to work with parts from them??? Alpine usually has in-house solutions for just about all car entertainment systems. Won't be cheap though.

LOL. Then Alpine isn't for you. There's a reason they have such a high price point. They aren't Pioneer or Sony. It's been a while since I used their heads because I have higher priorities now, BUT they used to be the best money could buy (and probably still are, at least at the consumer level). When it was a priority for me, I spent the money and got audiophile quality, and an Alpine head was a must. The rest of the components are a different story.
