Trailer wiring
Trailer wiring
Does anyone have the wiring connector location or pinout for trailer lighting converter box? Is it the 4 pin plug above the drivers side battery taped to the loom?
Re: Trailer wiring
Ended up using this:

To wire up a four flat trailer plug on the car. Ignore the 3 wire to 2 wire thing. On these cars you don't use the brake input. Honestly any converter would work. I'm not sure how tough the turn signal switch is so I'd recommend against wiring directly.
The wiring is located above the battery on the passenger side. Wire colors are standard GM (same as American trailer UL color coding). Yellow for left, green for right, brown for running lamps.

Re: Trailer wiring
Since you have added trailer wiring, I assume you have a trailer hitch. Do you have any pictures that were taken during the hitch installation, if my assumption is correct? I don't tow with a car much since I have an old 3/4" Ford for towing duty, but it is nice to have the ability to tow a light trailer.

I didn't bother with photos.
Re: Trailer wiring
This seems to be for the 11-13 only, not finding a reference to this plug in the 14+ models.
Connector pictured above is X456 located above the battery - #5 in this pic:
Not able to find any information on what the wires inside it are. That would be useful if anyone has mapped what wires are in there.

My 14 came with a receiver and a 4 pin installed. I can snap pictures of the install.
