Think you may have to check with a GM dealer. The online catalogs still have a drawing of the 11-13 door panel for the 14+ listing, so no trunk release button pictured. Have a feeling the GM dealer will have a more detailed listing. I found a site the other week that looked to have actual dealer drawing but it only seems to go up to years 2012.

Let us know what you find.

EDIT: My local GM guy gave me : 92272763 (CORRECTION : 92272736 ) for $19.00 list. Said it comes with the bezel and switch only available in Lansing PDC. That number not showing good in any GM parts ordering system and they ususally have them all so not sure if I got it wrong or not??

I tried running the number on the side of the switch, but got no result, there was a number on the bezel will have to pull it apart again, Id switch the one from the passenger side over but even the switch is weird to take out, maybe thats why they come as the entire piece.

Good news, the SS sedan trunk release switch is the same as the 14' and up PPV switch. Ordered an SS switch and it dropped right in.

So does that switch also NOT work with the key off, like it doesn't on the '11-'13 models located on the center stack?

I just swapped the passenger side to the driver's side, as the passenger has no need to pop the trunk. But would be nice to fix. Whats the P/N?

Hmm. Could open the door and press the trunk release button by the A/C vent on our 95 9C1 any time. Not sure what the difference is. With all the computer controlled crap, I can see keeping the thing from working over say 20 MPH, but still do not understand why it won’t work with the key off. Just stupid to me.

well think all the equipment and ammo they carry , being able to use a coat hanger to pop the trunk open while its parked , if it was always on like the SS or G8 were , youd have free rein into the trunk to grab all that high dollar equipment
