Ignition fused hotwire

I am installing heated seats in my 2011 9c3 and am looking for a suitable source for 12 volts that is ignition fused. The kit to install the heating elements draws 7.5 volts. Checking behind the console is a 4 prong plug with 3 stout wires and a thin black wire. I have checked these out and there is no power with IGN off or on. What is this plug for? Could it be part of my AUX battery?

It does not look to be part of the factory wiring or the upfitters harness. There is a 4 cavity plug in that configuration in the upfitters harness but it has different wire colors and I do not think any dept would use the correct terminals to change the wires, they would just cut off the factory connector and butt splice them. And in the upfitters harness the wires just go to the underhood area and hook to what every options you want, none of them are power wires unless you make them a power wire.

I think what you will want to do for the heated seats is use the ignition wire from the upfitters harness (pink with blue stripe) to turn on a relay that can get power from one of the battery feeds on the upfitters harness. Because I think the power draw will be 7.5 amps not volts. x 2 seats that is a pretty significant draw you would want to draw from a stout wire.
