Headlight lens removal

Post by philofab »

My car has holes in the headlights from flashers, and whoever removed them didn't patch the holes. I now have condensation and dust inside my lights. Does anyone know if the lens removes with screws? There appears to be clips and screws holding it together but most lights are bonded together and require a heat gun to separate.

I had the same problem... with the taillights too. I took them out, mixed up some epoxy, filled the holes and put the headlights back in... after cleaning them all up and changing the bulbs. Going to go with HIDs or LEDs, so I'll be taking the front end all apart again, but it's easy.
