How do you reset security lock out ?

2013 V6 car that I triggered the security lock out while swapping out the front end. Does anyone know the procedure to reset? My key is stuck in the ignition currently

The only problems that I have had with key removal have been dead batteries, shifter not all of the way in park. I don't know if there is an security feature that would keep the key from being removed from the lock cylinder. Of course, I could be 100% wrong about the security feature.

Did you disconnect the front fuse box during this swap? If so check to make sure you hooked it back up. That will lock the key in.

I had unhooked it and snapped it back together but I had not tightened the two screws in the middle which after doing so fixed the issue

I am currently having the same issue with my 2012 PPV where I had the ECM flashed and disconnected the fuse box. I just checked and the blocks felt like they were installed all the way into the fuse box. My question is are the two bolts supposed to get tight and then loose? I can get them finger tight before they start feeling loose but the bottom connectors don't come off.

The fuse block bolts will tighten until the upper and lower are mated/seated. Then they will turn even after the halves are fully seated.
