Trunk light/Glove box light/shifter light all blacked out

Post by 2822MM »

2013 CHEVY CAPRICE PPV

I replaced my trunk light with an LED and it apparently blew a fuse or something but now I have no glove box light or shifter light or trunk light... Can’t seem to locate a bad fuse or maybe i’m looking in wrong area...

Any ideas?

Yea them trunk light bulb holder arms are totally exposed when you are installing it you are sure to tap them on the metal.

Here is the diagram:

Looks to be F4DA feeding the BCM for that function. Which is in the instrument panel fuse box.

Here is the layout. Fuse is labeled BCM 2

My advise, put in your rear trunk lamp, then replace the fuse!!
