HOLLEY LSFest 2018 September 7-9, 2018 Beach Bend Raceway Park Bowling Green, KY

The 2018 Holley LS Fest is just around the corner! Any vehicle powered by an LS or current generation LT engine has a home at the largest all-LS event in the country! Staged at beautiful Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, KY the weekend of Sept. 7-9, LS Fest attracts the finest LS-powered hot rods, race cars, street rods, muscle cars, and trucks for three days of non-stop action. There's something for car guys and gals of every kind - Drifting, Drag Racing, Autocross, 3S Challenge, Show-N-Shine, a Countryside Cruise, Dyno Challenge, Track X, Bolt-On Power Challenge, Road Course Challenge, even a Burnout Challenge. Read on to find out what you and your ride are best suited for at LS Fest!

DRIFT CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY LUCAS OIL PRODUCTS
One of the most popular events at LS Fest is the Lucas Oil Drift Challenge, taking place Saturday night at Beech Bend's oval track. This invitational only event pits talented drivers against one another in tandem battle. As these drivers slide their high horsepower cars through the entire course, a panel of judges decide who advances to the next round. A $1,500 check goes to the deserving winner, while second and third place finishers pocket payouts of $750 and $375.
For the first time ever there will be an additional opportunity for drift challenge competitors to take home additional money at the Sunday Redemption Round. Directly after the 3S Challenge concludes on Sunday a top 8 competition will take place so check the event schedule to make sure you don't miss out!

DRAG RACING PRESENTED BY SCOGGIN-DICKEY PARTS CENTER AND ENGINE POWER TV

Watch some of the most powerful LS-powered race cars in the country battle side-by-side down the quarter-mile - or race your own ride!

Two new classes join the drag class roster for 2018: the Lil’ John Motorsports Stock Block Shootout and the Monster Clutch Co. Stick Shift/Banger Class. These classes join an already stacked drag schedule at LS Fest, so make sure to follow visit the event website to figure out the best class for you.

Other available classes are the Holley EFI COPO Battle At The Green, designed specifically for Chevrolet’s COPO Camaros, Frankenstein Engine Dynamics Late Model Heads Up class, Magnuson Superchargers Drag Radial, Three Pedals Rumble (Index), Sam Tech Street King, Scoggins Dickey Chevrolet Performance Stock, Wiseco Real Street and Cam Motion True Street! Speedtech has also sponsored the Grudge Test-N-Tune, a non-competitive class designed for those who may not necessarily fit into a drag class based on rules. Or perhaps you’re just wanting to improve on your drag time without the added nerves of competition. There are no rules for this class other than the LS/Gen 5 LT powerplant rule and NHRA safety regulations.

BURNOUT CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY HOONIGAN & HOOKER BLACKHEART
The Hoonigan burnout challenge has quickly become a fan favorite, and it is back for 2018. Get ready to see all the action unfold Saturday night just before drifting! These won't be static burnouts either. Holley has a set area on the oval track for the cars to stay within. Other than that the floor is theirs to see who is the best at mixing hooning with tire smoke! If you're interested in participating in the burnout challenge at this year's LS Fest, please send us an email at lsfest@holley.com and let us know what you got!

BOLT-ON POWER CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY BRIAN TOOLEY RACING & CAR CRAFT MAGAZINE
Continuing for 2018 is the Bolt On Power Challenge. If being a car guy to you is more about powerful engines than pinpoint driving, you'll love this event. Starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, two teams will compete to disassemble "junkyard" 6.0-liter truck engines and reassemble them with an array of bolt-on performance parts from Brian Tooley Racing, Air Flow Research, Holley and others. The first team to fire their engine and idle it for 30 seconds continuously will be declared the winner. The winning team takes home the engine and all of the parts they used to win the competition, the losing team will have the option to purchase their engine and accompanying parts at a discount. The competition takes place Saturday, beginning at 10:00 a.m., so be sure to get there early enough to claim a good spot for this exciting event! If you're interested in competing in this event, email us at lsfest@holley.com and show us what you've got. Please email a 200-word description of your team and why you think you should be chosen to compete.

AUTOCROSS PRESENTED BY QA1 AND LATERAL-G.NET
Want to test yourself on something other than the drag strip? Run your LS-powered vehicle on the QA1 autocross course in a moderate-speed competition that will showcase the car and driver with the best combination of acceleration, braking, and handling. This course has it all - hairpins, sweepers, chicanes, and slaloms. The autocross, 3S Challenge and the drag strip will all be used to help determine a Grand Champion winner for 2018! This year, event staff have created a separate Grand Champion class for those competing in trucks to improve disparity in vehicle type within this competition.

3S CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY BAER BRAKES AND SUPER CHEVY
The always popular 3S Challenge tests drivers' mettle in three areas: speed, steering, and stopping. It combines autocross and speed/stop skills in a single event to determine the best all-around driver. The down-and-back course has a 180-degree turnaround, a slalom, and a stop box. Left and right course times are combined, and the driver with the lowest total time is crowned champion. Don't lose control, though - hit any course marker, cone, or stop-box cone and you're out!

SHOW-N-SHINE PRESENTED BY ACCEL IGNITION & LS1TECH.COM
Check out one great LS- or LT-powered build after another and have thousands of eyes on yours at the Show-N-Shine. Every kind of car and truck will be there - including a bunch you never would've expected to have an LS engine under the hood. Awards will be distributed for a dozen different categories, so don't miss it!

DYNO CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY THE TUNING SCHOOL & BANGSHIFT.COM
Want to prove how much horsepower your ride really has? Look no further than the Dyno Challenge, where you can hook your car to the chassis dyno and find out for yourself! Sign up is on a first-come/first-serve basis, and valuable Holley product certificates worth hundreds of dollars are handed out to the top three finishers in each of two categories - Power-Adder and Non-Power-Adder.

TRACK X PRESENTED BY AMERICAN POWERTRAIN & PRO-TOURING.COM
Do you like autocross? How about banging gears around a road-course? If you're a fan of both, Track X could be right up your alley - it combines the best of both disciplines in a single event. It's a test of driving skill through a series of gates and chicanes on the East portion of NCM Motorsports Park, highlighting car balance and driving skill and is open to all autocross and all-access participants. Speeds can approach up to 90 mph while remaining well within the limits of safety. This is a non-timed event that is available to those who want to learn how to drive their vehicle better in a performance setting.

COUNTRYSIDE CRUISE PRESENTED BY BOWLER PERFORMANCE TRANSMISSIONS AND GM-EFI.COM
The Countryside Cruise is always a welcome break from the fast-paced action on all the race courses. Participants in this fun, family-focused event take to the beautiful backroads of rural Kentucky in a 30-mile digital scavenger hunt, taking pictures to record all their finds. Prove that you were able to visit all the locations on the map with digital photos and we'll enter you into a drawing for a $500 Holley product certificate.
