Did a little more work. The turbo sits about a 1/4 in above the power steering pulley. It's super tight, and it also hits the hood right now, but if I remove a bit of the supports it will close I think. After struggling so much to make it fit I thought about downsizing on the turbo. It would literally make everything so much easier. But I already have this one. So I will push on!

If you are using aluminized pipe and doing all this custom I would highly suggest that you don't try to spray coat anything yourself, at least get that crossover piece done by a professional coater like JETHOT, it won't cost that much and you can have the inside done also which will make that piece last basically forever plus it will cut down on the concern of the heat exposure to the other parts nearby. I have tried 2 different DIY coatings now and neither was as good as professional job. The spray on one just baked right off, the other has you cure the parts on a BBQ or oven first and did look better but I didn't think it did anything for heat reduction.
I just looked at the project "zed sled" where they are making a twin turbo 6.0 system and it looks like they used the firewall area for the coil packs and must have a custom wire set to run them forward along the bottom side of the valve covers and down to each plug. would need some type of holder for that on our center bolt VC but seems doable.

I got some quotes today for ceramic coating. They want 200 to coat the headers, and 250 to do the crossover. I wish I could but that is just way too much money to protect $150 worth of pipe.

You need to wrap it whether you coat it or not, so who cares what it looks like underneath. You'll probably change the setup before it has time to rust away anyway. And as you said, the pipe is cheap.

I will definitely be wrapping it either way. I already have the wrap. Here's a picture of it being supported on it's own. I'm waiting on a flange to finish the hotside. The filter I have fits perfect. But I will have to relocate the power steering reservoir and figure out the radiator hose.

I worked on the oil drain and feed today. For the oil drain I used this style that has an aluminum gasket with a rubber o-ring on both sides. For the feed I used the ICT billet piece. Looks like pretty high quality. And it has an extra port if I want to run an oil pressure gauge later.

So I am gonna need custom plug wires for the driver's side. I ordered this wire kit. We'll see how it works I guess!

I have the hotside all connected! I do not have the wastegates on yet. I'm still thinking about where I want them. Once I figure that out I will clean up all my welds, shave my manifolds and wrap everything. I only have 1 50ft roll of wrap, so I think I will need more.

Here's the pictures of how I did my hotside!

Here's the crossover how it will sit. It is plenty high enough. And I think ground clearance will be fine
