My new to me 2014 Caprice V8
Up to about 2 months ago I had no idea on what a 2011-2017 Caprice was, To me it was another pos fwd car that I wanted no part of.
Then a friend of mine lists one up for sale and I actually looked at it and saw that the car was RWD and that it had an LS motor in it.
fast forward 2 weeks and I bought the car knowing absolutely NOTHING about them besides what he told me, NEEDS dod deleted and some other stuff, guess what I didn't know what dod was or that it was even a problem but I proceeded anyways.
About a week after getting the car the Cam, lifters, timing set, oil pump, Valve springs and seals and pushrods have been swapped.
I just purchased HP tuners (I wanted to never deal with this but here I am I prefer standalone systems)
Car needs
Paint work
driver seat swapped - already have a spare
Fender vents = just ordered hopefully on their way
Spare tire and jack set
windshield washer line fixed
Rubber flooring replaced with anything but it.
Wheels replaced - I hate them steel wheels = I have a lead on some 18 inch Camaro wheels-hopefully it works out.
Trunk and hood have a few holes that need fixing.
A-Pillar spot light needs to be gone
Console needs some work
Drivers door panel has some damage
Need to figure out the rear door lock-unlock mechanism.
Need to figure out the Bluetooth on the radio.

I am probably going to do somethings different - I have NO care about Holden, SS, G8 or want anything to do with the cop car themes.

plans for the car
Most likely buying two carpets for a maybe 80s A-body and cutting/trimming and making them fit.
No plan for the radio yet.

So all that light was just from upgrading the stock bulb to LED? That is pretty slick!
