Holden Motor Mount for sale (single)

Post by GammaFlat »

Brand new unused Holden Motor Mount as sold here for 295 per pair: https://holdenpartsusa.com/products/tec ... -mount-set

I was going to change both and they come in pairs - I changed my mind. I did driver's side only (side that gets pulled on). Some say change both of them but I'm not convinced that the passenger side is at high risk (it gets pushed instead of pulled). Mine is fine so far with one done. Both sides use identical part. The Holden part looks absolutely bullet-proof. See the link above or picture below. $150 and I'll pay shipping in lower 48.
This is easier to install than the factory one is to remove. The factory one (rubber and brown goo) has studs on top and bottom. This causes you to need to lift the engine to kingdom come in order to get it out. Since the new one has a stud and a bolt, it is much easier to get in place than a GM factory replacement. As a matter of fact, I'd recommend cutting the old one out - raise up the motor and cut the stud with a dremmel, torch or cut-off wheel. I did not feel real comfortable raising the engine as much as I did
