Console install, looking for duct PN

Post by mftrnr »

Hello! Ive been searching and cannot seem to find the part number for the AC duct to make the rear vents in the G8 console, anybody have this?

I came across a link on the facebook page but it didn't work anymore.

Any help is appreciated!

SO you have the duct that goes from the rear vent to both sides of the shifter? YOu are looking for the one from the ac case to the shifter split?

You are right I am not seeing that one in any drawings.

THis is a drawing of the front duct I found in the service manual. No part number info though.

SO you need the front duct or the rear duct?

I am looking for the "U" shaped one that goes around the shifter. I got a bunch of parts that came with the car for the console swap and was told it was everything needed but it's a couple parts short, I think mostly this duct and the e-brake cable, not sure what I'm going to do about that either. I think I found the part number for 9C3 E-brake cable but now I have to go back outside and see what that involves to swap it out.

Thanks!

Ahh Found it - Hiding in an obscure category of "Ducts" DOH!!

https://www.gmpartworld.com/auto-parts/ ... ducts-scat" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

#14 - Cheap too!!

Huh in the 11 they show part number 92263765 as availible

In the 12 and 13 GM show part number 92263762 as discontinued.

And for the G8 they show no part number as in not available any more. Not sure the differences in the ducts??

To update this thread in case anyone finds this via search:

TLDR: It works, on my 2012 at least. I would imagine it would have no issue working on a 2011 or 2013 as well.
