Wire Clipped at Battery Mount, Should I fix it?

Post by SSpeedracer »

Check out the circled parts of picture. A white wire was cut and left open near 2nd battery mount. A yellow wire was spliced into the taillight harness and cut during down-fitting. Light circuit still closed.

Any idea what was there and if I should reconnect the white wire?

The white wire is just the feed from one of the two relays on the AUX battery. No need to do anything with it. THey may have used the wire for another option to get power into the dash area.

Long as the taillights work, just put some tape over the the yellow one.

Thanks. I found holes drilled for trunk lights.
